We currently broadcast 24/7 Sky 673, Freesat 817, & Freeview 85 as well as streaming Live in HD though IPTV technology online at www.thecraftstore.com. Broadcasting live for 15 hours a day, we offer a huge variety of shows and products. Our website is fully transactional and our in-house call centre with Sales and Customer services is open from 6am to 11pm.

Launched in August 2015 we now have a 140 strong team across all departments. We outsource very little as we pride our self in Hochanda staff providing Hochanda services to the Hochanda consumer. This we feel is the best way to see the passion throughout and ensure it reaches the end user. We are very proud of the team we have who have come from all corners of the Direct Response, Shopping TV, and Retail industry. Hochanda allows our team to really spread their wings and stretch their imaginations to bring the best out of their skills and experience.

Senior .NET Software Developer

Description:

We require a Senior Developer to work within a small team of developers, primarily working on our custom CMS system being used to develop the next generation of our website. You will work closely with our Lead Developer, where your experience and in-depth knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming principles will be vital to the successful delivery of current and future projects. As Senior Developer, you will mentor less experienced members of the team, helping them to improve their skills and encourage good development methodologies whilst promoting a collaborative and friendly environment.

You will also be required to work closely with other departments within the business, liaising with key stakeholders to develop a complete understanding of business requirements.

Main duties include:

  • A minimum of 10 years commercial experience as a developer.

Customer Experience Team Lead

Job Purpose: Taking direction from the Customer Experience Supervisor, as a team lead you will manage your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Main duties include:

  • Manage the call centre day to day to ensure we have adequate cover for shows and events during peak times.
  • Responsible for the team of customer service advisors on shift, providing support and guidance
  • Train, coach and develop the call centre team, from new employee onboarding to providing training on new events or suppliers.
  • Takes responsibility for escalated customer complaints, deals with complaint calls with the aim to deliver first contact resolution.

Trainee Floor Manager

Description:

You will ensure the safe running of the studio floor during all live and pre-recorded output. To prepare product, demonstration, and risk assessment for shows.

Main duties include:

  • Ensure all samples for shows, including variants where appropriate are ready and air worthy.
  • Ensure all housekeeping standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure effective and timely handover of information to colleagues on own and opposite shifts
  • Contribute to a supportive, positive, and efficient team environment between shifts by demonstration of appropriate behaviours

Technical Operative

In this role, you will be using your technical operations skills in a studio and live playout environment to support the production and delivery of broadcast content for Hochanda.

Operations Support Administrator

Working with both the Operations Support Team and Customer Experience Team, you will support delivery efficiency from the point of order to the customers door within service level agreements. The primary focus of this role is to ensure our customers receive the correct items in good condition quickly be it from the warehouse or from our suppliers.

Main duties include:

  • Process and manage the operations email inbox to resolve enquiries.
  • Complete data inputting or creation of various tasks / reports, such as pick counts, daily dashboards, goods received to name just a few
  • Manage various database items such as Freedom pending and non-pending, Label errors, Quarantine, courier claims
  • Maintain, create and update Operations wipe / notice boards and other communications tools to ensure relevant time bound information is always displayed.
  • Liaise with suppliers and couriers to resolve any delays with dispatch, pick error or delivery.
  • Monitor the non-shipped Hochanda warehouse and orders awaiting download to ensure we fulfil our orders within the agreed service levels

Scheduling & Stock Clearance Assistant

Location: Hochanda Global Limited, Nene House, Nene Valley Business Park, Oundle, PE8 4HN

Position Type: Part Time, Temporary

Description:

As the Scheduling Assistant, you will be working with the Buying team to keep the TV schedule up to date, monitor and amend show descriptions to encourage viewers to tune in for the show, update the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) on Sky, Freesat and Freeview, monitor and assist the buying team with Admin support as required.

Stock Clearance – co-ordinate the sorting, listing and selling of old stock that cannot be sold through the website. Items to include but not be limited to old samples, customer returns, damaged stock or slow moving goods. Main sales avenue will be eBay however other routes may be explored.

Responsibilities also include communicating with clearance customers, general admin including feedback, dealing with queries and sales reporting to finance. Supervising additional staff to support the sorting through the goods to make ready for sale.

Main duties include:

  • Ensuring the Schedule is up to date with relevant information, title, guest names etc.
  • Daily processing of the One Day Special sales figures, and maintenance of the One Day Special data, ensuring that all the show commercials are entered correctly and are up to date.
  • Request and process VT requests for the promotion of upcoming shows.
  • Develop and maintain the database of shows to be stored for repeat at a later date
  • Maintain the database of sales figures on a daily basis for use in analysis and allocation of Buyers air time.
  • Work with the Buyers to produce relevant, descriptive EPG’s for every show and ensure the TV guides and our website are kept up to date.
  • Regularly check online guides that EPG’s are all correct, in at the scheduled times, no incorrect spelling to the title or synopsis.
  • Set up the overnight repeats, ensuring they have stock, and schedule them at the most suitable times.
  • Assist the Buyers by checking through the shows to ensure everything has stock, images and that EPG’s are loaded for every show.
  • Ensure other departments are aware of any last-minute changes to the scheduled show.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience of an admin role would be beneficial.
  • Excellent IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products and specifically Excel.
